The Leaseclarify service ("Leaseclarify", "Service", "we", "us") is operated by Leaseclarify (the "Seller"). By using the Service you enter into a binding agreement with the Seller. You can contact us at support@leaseclarify.app.
By creating an account, uploading a contract, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract, or have the authority to bind the organisation you act for.
Leaseclarify analyses German residential rental contracts and highlights potentially problematic clauses with reference to public law sources (e.g. BGB, BetrKV, BGH case law). The Service is an information tool only and does not constitute legal advice. You remain responsible for any decisions you make based on its output and should consult a qualified lawyer for binding legal advice.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan. You retain ownership of the contracts you upload, and grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service to you.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Our refund policy is set out at /refund-policy.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete account data after a reasonable period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify the Seller against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, content you upload, or breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
